Blog entry "Orkun Freerice" From Cambodia!
Every morning the children at the Damnak Sleng Primary School in Siem Reap, Cambodia, enjoy a tasty breakfast of rice with sauce. It is just one of the many World Food Programme school meals projects, which is supported by Freerice with rice earned by the 1.2 million Freericers (like you) who play every month.
The breakfast is vitally important for these children, as it is often the only meal they will eat for the day. It helps them to concentrate in class so they can grow strong bodies and minds.
The children at Damnak Sleng have one thing to say to you... (watch the video to find out!)

Good for them.. PLease join my group it is Helping Hands
I am so happy for them.We worked very hard.I am glad to be part of Freerice.
What's in the liquid being poured over the rice? I hope it's more nutritious than it looks, especially if it's a whole day's food for many of the children! Also, it looks like white rice, which doesn't have as many vitamins & as much fiber as brown rice.
Im Glad We Can Help them:)
YESH!!! And here I thought that all the free rice we help give goes to just Africa. Don't worry my fellow Cambodians, I'm coming and all the other FreeRicers are coming to help! :D
This is amazing! I can't believe I'm giving children food to eat while educating myself! We should spread the news about Freerice - feeding hungry people while learning language and math skills.
can anyone join my club? it is name Freerice Rules!
such a great program, glad I found this!
It's great to know that I am a part of a large effort along with people from around the world to do something about hunger. Play on freericers!!!

Wuo!
i will NEVER stop going on freerice!!!
I reckon freerice is the best website i've ever been on-but what about the people in the horn of africa?I think sone rice should go over to them.
more people should sign up as it is the easiest way to help kids, and it also fun knowing that your time is not wasting- your making a difference to people's lives.
fail site is blocked by sonicwall
I feel bad.
How sweet! I'm proud to be a freericer!
Cambodia- hang in there!
I think that more people should sign up to freerice.com. Fact: It takes 19,000 grains of rice to feed 1 person for 1 day.
why
i wonder why the numbers of rice doesn't increase....
today i accumulate the rice untill 70000 but my total number only show 3000...
i hope the children receive the total number of rice...
pls give me a feedback thank you
This makes me sooooo happy! It makes a big difference in there lifes and all we have to do is answer questions. I'm Cambodian and it makes me even happier. :)
Wow...I am satisfaid with myself, I got a good grade in chemistry while helping these children. I love Freerice!
I am also very proud to be part of freericers.
For some time I have doubts because of the donations declined both times here.
I'm from Brazil, and here we have many participants, who are the same doubts. Someone explain to us?
Thank you.
hey freerice, can you like add a chatbox in freerice.com, if there is one already, can you please tell me where it is. cos i would not need to always come to a blog post to post something.
I'm so glad we can help people in Cambodia! :-)
Delightful !
some kid will enjoy a meal because of us :)
glad to be a freericer. these kids are inspiring.
Ten grains of rice is such a small amount, but it's amazing what the users of this site can achieve when we all work towards the same goal.
Yay! Seeing this makes me so happy. :')
Wow, it is difficult to believe that playing simple trivia and vocabulary games can make such an impact on these children's lives. I am proud to be a freericer!
