Blog entry 1 Easter Egg = 12 Hungry Kids Fed

Recently we shared an exciting online platform called WeFeedback. Since then, Freerice players have raised over 7,000 meals for hungry school children to help break the cycle of hunger. And more than a 100,000 meals have been donated to hungry children in total. We’re on a roll!

With Easter coming up, we felt this would be the perfect opportunity to share what we've achieved and invite you to feedback your Easter Egg this year. One Easter Egg can feed 12 hungry kids! Don't believe us? Work it out on the WeFeedback calculator

And if you need more motivation, here is an Easter fact that will melt your heart: Consumers in the US and UK spend more than $2.3 billion on Easter candy annually. That’s enough to feed 20 million children for two whole years!

no child or adult should go to bed hungry,i live in arkansas and 200,000 children and adults go to bed hungry each day,as a christian i do what i can do to help the poor and homeless,in our county we have over 200 churches,as a christian i do get upset that the churches do not follow Jesus command to take care of the poor,and the body of Christ is not doing a good job in this area,my prayer is that the churches wake up and realize that people need to eat and drink everyday,if everychurch just gave one offering a month there would be nobody in my county who goes to bed hungry. we have 1 homeless center in our county that is over 100 years old and they can only take in 18 people, plus they give food boxes to 10 to 20 people everyday,they rely on donation the name of the place is called bethlehem house, consider giving to them there address is bethlehem house,930 faulkner.conway,arkansas.72034 there phone number is 501-329-4862,i realize everybody is hurting but if if everybody that reads this and just send a one dollar or any amount that God puts in your heart this is a clean christian homeless shelter,if you do not want to send money to them,send it to my address,gary Throcmorton,p.o.box 1077,greenbrier,arkansas and i promise you every cent i will send it to them and you will go to bed knowing that you help a hungry person go to bed and not be hungry and God has a heart for the poor and he will bless you, respectfully Gary Throckmorton
